He had dreams. All kids who grow up in small towns have dreams of futures in big cities. He lay back in the bed of the truck staring up at the stars. He got his best ideas and inspiration from hours spent staring at the sky. Tonight, though, was different. Tonight he had an idea of what he wanted to do to ensure his future. He had spent most of the day looking at college courses online and after examining the details of becoming an app developer and the potential for a job future. He loved the idea of writing source code and looked at it as learning a new language to help bring new ideas to hundreds of people and to enhance existing programs by creating new applications. As he looked up into the sky, he could see the stars looking down at him and he could see his potential winking backing down at him.
